How to mention or tag accounts in post

In PostFlow, you can tag or mention other social accounts in your posts. Simply add the @ and username of the account you want to tag.

Facebook mentions

Tagging in Facebook posts is currently not available.

X/Twitter mentions

To mention the X account in your post, type @ and the username of the account. For example, to tag PostFlow, you would enter: @PostFlowApp

Instagram mentions

To mention an Instagram account in the post, type @ and the username of the account. For example, to tag PostFlow, you would enter: @postflow.app

On Instagram you can additionally tag accounts in images or videos. Check the usernames before publishing, Instagram will not publish your post if non-existing account or private account is tagged!

Threads mentions

To tag a Threads account in the post, type @ and the username of the account. For example, to tag PostFlow, you would enter: @postflow.app

TikTok mentions

To tag a TikTok account in the post, type @ and the username of the account. For example, to tag PostFlow, you would enter: @postflowapp

Bluesky mentions

To mention a Bluesky account in a scheduled post, type @ and the username of the account you want to mention. You can find the username of the account on the profile detail page under name or from the URL.

For example, to tag PostFlow, you would enter: @postflow.app

LinkedIn mentions

You can tag LinkedIn Page in posts, however, you cannot tag personal profiles in posts. LinkedIn do not allow tagging personal profiles in third-party apps like PostFlow. You can find the username of the account on the Page detail page from the URL.

For example, to tag PostFlow, you would enter: @postflow-app

Tagging on multiple social networks

Since usernames may be different on each network, you must create customized versions of content for specific networks and modify the username.
